This beautiful picture of Buddha was taken from a painting, which was given to me as go away gift, by a very talented farmer from Karmourn Sor. Due to free space limited, I regretted for not able to post all the photos that I took of the pagodas, foods and sceneries from Kampuchea Krom. There are over 500 pagodas across our land (now know as South Viet Nam). Most pagodas are beautifully decorated with ancient Khmer art but many are badly needs to be restored. There are so much to show you about my heritage and culture. I’m very grateful for this opportunity to share with you a taste of Khmer Krom cooking, and a little something about us.
Thank you so much for stopping by my home page; I really appreciated you spending time to learn about Khmer Krom. Our people back home are struggling to survive under oppression from Vietnamese government. But, every one of us is trying our best to preserving our Khmer tradition and culture that we’re very proud of. We may be the forgotten Khmer in Kampuchea Krom, but we will never, ever forget of who we are. We will never forget 6-4-1949 when French government illegally gave Kampuchea Krom to Viet Nam.
As you are leaving my homepage please take with you my best of wishes. May Buddha bless you and your family with good health, good luck, happiness and prosperity!
